Surgery done

Charise is awake and doning really well. None of the problems from last time. We are discharging now, just a bit after noon. Took a bit longer to get out then I thought it would. Oddly it’s Charise’s elbow that is hurting her not the wrist… course the pain meds and block havn’t worn off yet. We are home now and she ate some pudding and is crashed out.

The pain is the elbow is understandable because ligiments & muscles are attached at the wrist & elbow, so whatever effects one end is felt at the other end. Since the surgery took longer than you thought, the elbow could have been in a stressed position and twisted, etc. We’re sending you prayer energy, and God bless Debra for taking care of Kailey

Well, that makes sense. The block wore off a couple days back and now the wrist hurts, but the elbow is fine again. She hurts but it’s manageable and nothing like the disabling that occurred last time. Thanks for the thoughts!
